EXPEDITION

A 16-day Himalayan journey combining remote high-altitude trekking and a 6,250 m summit climb. The route passes through nomadic settlements, turquoise lakes, and rugged mountain passes, with cultural stops in Leh and Korzok. This expedition blends scenic exploration with the thrill of a non-technical but demanding peak ascent.

The trek covers 9–10 days of walking, crossing passes like Shibuk La (5,200 m), Kyamayuri La (5,420 m), and Kartse La (5,300 m). Terrain includes alpine lakeshores, rocky plateaus, and glacier approaches. The summit day demands 10–12 hours of climbing effort, starting before dawn.

Arrive in Leh, drive to Rumtse to begin the trek, and return via Korzok and Mahe Bridge. Best season is June to September, when the weather is stable and views are clear. An Indian visa, strong fitness, and proper high-altitude gear are required.

Includes all permits, camping gear, meals, porters, and experienced guides. The itinerary allows for acclimatisation days and technical training at Base Camp. Safety measures include first aid, altitude medicine, and essential climbing equipment for summit day.
